I saw this post, and thought it seemed like a fun thing to try. It made me wonder exactly what my collection would look like, if gathered all together.
Well. . .I failed at bringing it all together. I couldn't have fit that in a picture. It took three pictures, which I joined into one. And, looking at all of this. . .I'm stunned. It was much more than I realized! The best part is only a handful of these items were obtained after his death (all of the shirts--minus the one on the far left, which is a HIStory tour shirt I got from the catalog in '95; the tribute magazines printed after his passing, the DVD of the Bucharest concert (though I'd seen it when it originally aired on HBO); and, interestingly enough, the copy of "Moonwalk," which I purchased for $13 from an antique store less than a week after Michael left us--the fellow didn't know he had it, and didn't DESERVE to have it, considering what he said to me WHILE I WAS BUYING IT. . .I was called there to rescue our MJ, I believe). The rest of it. . .has been collected over 25 years, and are in varying conditions (I was not the original owner of many of these things, particularly the ones featuring the Jackson Five).
I don't, no. If I get a chance sometime, I might try to scan them. They're just posed shots taken in the Trump Hotel after they were married. They're pretty cute.
Normally, I wouldn't TOUCH the Enquirer. . .tabloid trash, as Michael has said many times. I don't think I ever saw anyone else print these pictures, though. . .and I had to have them! I threw out the rest of the magazine, and had the cover and the Michael pages laminated. *shakes head* I was in junior high at the time, and had the A/V workers laminate it for me. They thought I was silly.
