Hi everyone, I'm new here, (but not new to our wonderful MJ!) :-)

I'm so glad to have found these wonderful MJ communities on LJ. :-)
I've been a fan of Michael since 1987, when I was a teenager. I saw the "Bad" video and was instantly hooked. I became absolutely obsessed with Michael and spent all my allowance on anything that had to do with him. :-) I also got my two then-best friends into him and they became just as obsessed as I was! :-)
Michael was my first crush and I fiercely defended him to anyone who spoke badly about him. (I still fiercely defend him to this day.) :-) Michael and his music got me through some very tough times back then and I am so grateful to him for that. I also was so lucky and got to see him live in concert in 1992.
Over the years, my musical tastes changed and I got into "heavier" things, but Michael and his music always held a very special place in my heart.
I was absolutely devastated when I heard the news that he had passed...I still cannot believe he is gone...I will love and miss him always. He was, is and always will be the greatest. :-)
