This whole "long distance relationship" thing about college is so interesting.
There are the people like myself and Nikki and Jon and Becca who only get to see their boyfriend/girlfriend every once in a while and during the school weeks and weeks we are apart doing the whole phone/im/missing thing. (Oops if that makes me and Nikki sound like a couple. Although it would be pretty damn hot, that is not the case, we each have our own boyfriends)
Then there are the people who have their boyfriends and girlfriends with them at school, like Emma's new man, Jillian and Jim, and my friends here Nick and Colleen. Nick and Colleen actually have the ideal situation, they both have singles so they can hang out whenever they want. But then they are apart during the summer and missing whoever they are with.
But still everyone has a time where they are missing the person they are with. And that is very sad. I was talking to Jon tonight, and he hasn't seen Bec since he dropped her off at school about 3 weeks ago.
Which makes me think how spoiled I am seeing Nick pretty much every week. Even if it's for just a little bit of time, it's nice to be able to see him for a bit, and to be in his arms sleeping is great.
On second thought the whole two worlds of school and home are pretty freaking confusing, but that is something i shouldn't try to get into now cuz I am not making much sense, just ask Alison about my whole first day of school reference.
