Frou Frou=one of the coolest bands ever. Thank you Zach Braff for making a stellar movie worthy of them.
I had a reasonably good day, even though it started off crappy.
I just wanted to say that some kids in my creative writing class blow me away and that I hope we do more readings because it's a truly enjoyable experience. I don't know if anyone knows how hard it can be to read something serious that you wrote for a writing class. It can be incredibly difficult. You write what you know and reading what you write is like bearing your soul in front of 25 teenagers. Some kids read stuff and you're just shocked. It may not be well-written, but the subject matter is something you'd never expect from them. You get to know them just a little bit every time you hear what they wrote and I love that. Some people write about this intense stuff, and I poke fun at that sometimes just because it's so angsty, but, honestly, I would never have the balls to just put that out there for everyone to look at. I don't believe in denying pain, but to talk about it in front of a group of people that are mostly strangers is something that I much prefer not to do.
Alex Marien wrote a serious piece. The first one I'd heard him read. All of his other pieces are on gnomes and cuban guys and this one was just...serious. I wish he would let people in more. I feel like I hardly know him and that I'm missing out. Other people I feel like I'm missing out on:

-Michael Duff
-Joe Malanowski
-Brian Blum
-Adam Snyder
-Dave Duff
-Patty Hunter
I don't want cw to end. I think that we should have AAIDS/CW meet over the summer. We will meet on a grassy knoll and have leatherbound journals. I will buy a book of writing prompts and we can spend the afternoons writing and reading to each other and enjoying life. Sound good? Renga will of course be played as well.
