Hey, my name is Sean and I just found your journal randomly. Your drawings are awesome and I was wondering how look it took you to do this? And what steps do you go through to get it to the finished state? Thanks :)

Hey Sean,

This started out as a small sketch I was doing on my wacom for a fewhours. (whihc you can see in an earlier entry)

I kinda liked it and decided to do it up properly,
So I printed it outlight boxed it, add some background elements ect.this was on a rough vbit of papaer still. A3 size. once im finished with the overall look even tho its still roughI will get my art board (eon artboardsi got a while back)

then I light box my rough onto thatvery tightlywith a mechanical pencil.

badbing badboom

I love drawing on artboards they are soooo smooth.
Sorry if this didnt make sence or the grammar/spellingas I just woke up. -_-

lol.. it was a bit hard to understand but its cool.

I have some more questions, but you dont *have* to answer them. Im just trying to start drawing more proffesionally looking things and yours are very good in that manner. Or in most manners...

What is a wacom?
"So I printed it outlight boxed it" what is outlight boxed?
Did you go to school for art?

thanks a lot for the help. :)

hahah sorry I really didnt type that very well.

first of all a wacom, is a brand of graphics
tablet which is a board and a pen basically.

You draw on the board and it comes on the screen. Its an alternative to a mouse.

"So I printed it outlight boxed it" what is outlight boxed?
was supposed to be :
"So I printed it out and then light boxed it"

i printed out my sketch from the computer
then put it on a light box and put another bit of paper on top so I could draw over it.

I went to college and studied Illustration for 2 years. But thats about it.
