Christmas Commercials I Won't Miss '09

Only about 37 hours left in the Aughts, before we slide into the Teens. I just hope everyone's computer is successfully programed to make the transition, and we won't have a bunch of Y2K+10 shutdowns tomorrow night.

I never really noticed that, but you're right, they do look similar. AT&T does need to find better ads than simply having him throw postcards over a map.

I love my comfy sweater, I love my comfy sweater: how cute are these boots? How cute are these boots?

Target had obnoxious Christmas commercials in general. The soon-to-be-divorced Christmas couple as bad, but the radio commercials of the mentally ill mother ruining Christmas for her kids (and previously, obsessively shopping) was brutal. I wanted to medicate the bitch and remove her vocal cords.

I never got a creepy vibe about the Folger's ad, but it is pretty corny.

The lyrics are annoying, but those girls are talented dancers, which is why I don't mind that one too much. I'm not shedding any tears that it's heading back to the vault until next year (or forever), but I didn't hate it either ( ... )
