Alright, so this play tonight was not exactly what I had hoped to be. Well, the way the program had described it, it seemed like a "romeo and juliet" sort of thing. Not really what it was though. It was about an over the top woman that was forced into marriage to a man that wanted to just control/own her. She ends up falling in love with another, and when her husband finds out he has her committed for her "insanity" for the fact that she doesn't love him and he realizes that he loves her. Anyways, very over the top and dramatic with a modern twist. I guess i'm an old fashioned girl. The worst part is that it doesn't count for my theater class because it wasn't professionally done. (It was a UTD performance).
