Interesting days ahead
I've made a friend in a local Dom (Rob) and we've begun hanging out when time allows. He's just as nerdy as I am, and boy, it's a breath of fresh air to have a fellow Dominant to talk with. I haven't met his girl yet because she's been healing from recent surgery but I do hope to meet her soon.
I'm slowly moving myself into the BDSM/D/s scene in terms of meeting people, checking out events, and hopefully attending some gatherings. I used to be pretty closed off to such things due to a fiasco I witnessed long ago among a group of D/s families who were supposed to be loving and trustworthy. Now I find myself ready to trust the lifestyle outside my own walls again.
It isn't just Rob who's helped renew my faith in BDSM mankind, though. Another Dom friend (Chris) has been equally as helpful in that respect. If it weren't for the two of them, I'd probably still be hiding in my bunker, as it were. Now, I'm going to be headed to the NE FFF, meeting other locals, and I'm even going to be babysitting a female sub this Sunday morning for Rob. I haven't babysat a pet in years, ever since that afformentioned fiasco, actually.
I just feel...more free, I suppose.
