It's been a while...
There's been a lot going on. Lots of drama and whatnot. I don't really care anymore, though. People are going to talk and I can't stop them, I just reserve the right not to know what's being said about me so I can live in ignorant bliss. Aside from that, the semester is winding down really nicely. My last class was yesterday, I have a Psych portfolio due Monday, my Field Experience notebook due Tuesday, my Honor's Religion final on Wednesday, and then I'm pretty much just hanging out until Saturday. The chorale is doing a gig Saturday morning, and then I'm grabbing an Amtrak home later that night. I'm excited to go home and start working again and just getting some time to myself. I think at this point, we all need a break.
Got cast in 'Godspell'. That's pretty cool, I can't wait to get my script and start rehearsing. I love that I'm finally in a musical again. I mean ... it's only been six years since 'Anything Goes' in 8th grade. :-P I am a little nervous, knowing my slight stage fright when it comes to singing, but I think we have a pretty good cast. I have to admit, I didn't think it would be a cast of 18, especially after he had said he was seriously considering a cast of 10, so we'll see how that goes. I'm excited that Nicole, Erin, and Doug are going to be in it. In those cases, it'll be my second or third show with them, and I think we have awesome friendships as a result of the shows we do together. I'm also excited Maddie and Steph are doing it. We need some freshman blood. There are a few people from chorus who got in, and I don't know what to think about that, mainly because I don't know them personally and because they've never done a Cabrini show before, but I guess we'll see how that goes.
I've seriously been considering applying to be an RA. I think it's something I could do well, and something I might need in order to stay sane. I think it's just the fact that I'm very independent, and the close quarters my room allows kind of gives me slight claustrophobia sometimes. It's not like my room at home where I can just close the door, blast whatever music I want, and all that stuff. I don't know, we'll see how everything goes.
It's really cold in this room. Mall later with Meredith and Jess, followed by DQ and 'Elf' tonight. :)
