Thurs - today
ok I will update as much as I can. I dunno how long I can stand sitting on the floor.
our internet is still shitty. The cable guy came on Fri, moved the cable box to the bedroom, so now it wont reach the family room where is where I sat to get on the net. We can't get wireless to work and Alex sat on the phone with microsoft for an HOUR and a HALF and they came to the conclusion that a huge chunk of windows is missing which could be why our wireless isn't connecting. UGHHHHHH There has been a constant battle with this stupid thing and I am gettin TIRED OF IT! Turning it on and off, unplugging the cable box, plugging it back in...GOSH DARNIT STOP MESSING WITH MY INTERNET!
Anywho, so Thursday, Alex took his staff out to eat in appreciation of what they do and I got to go with them. Went to Red Lobster so that was a nice free meal on the company. His staff members are so cute and it was fun to see how much they really appreciate Alex. Also got to chat with the old people. They are so nice and I love every one of them! They always have great stories to tell and I really wish I could hear every one of them.
Friday, one of the old valets came in to town so we went and ate a late lunch then came back and chilled out at the apt. The cable guy came then so us 3 just sat and waiting for him to do his thing. Then Jeremy left and we had our all nite battle with the computer and the cable connection. I ended up going to the mall to return a shirt and get another one for the fundraiser the next day. I needed a non boob shirt but really didn't have much luck. so I pick up some McDonalds and we eat and pass out.
The fundraiser was the British Bazaar. What is so weird is I went every year to this thing with my mother (her being british and all) and never really knew what it was for. I knew it was for some home but didn't click. Well it happens to be Mountbatten House which is who Alex works for. Really weird but ehh so has been our relationship. So the past two years that I"ve gone, I"ve had to work at the damn thing!! hahah owell, it was fun to help out the residents again, but I have to make face with all of his managers and blah blah. Well my mom came and Alex's parents came so this was the first time they met....and yeh mom just had to make a fool of herself! hahaha. she comes in and her flip flop is broken...so she's hobbling in, trying to show me her new tattoo (more on that later) and her flip flop at the same time...while his dad walks up...hahah it was hilarious, I turn my back for a second, turn back around and there is his dad prying my mom's shoes back together..I was like oh lordy mother. So we go out for lunch, I guess that all went ok. Went to look at some cars. Fell inlove with the new Scion tC..OMG I WANT ONE SO BADDDDDDDD! I shoulda never test drove it..but owell..I shall have that car I will figure out a way! hahah then we came home and took a nap.
Later we go out to eat, looking forward to a nice nite with some drinks. So we go to TGI Fridays. They have these huge drinks so I get an Electrick Lemonade and Alex gets a Long Island Ice Tea. Well we were being silly and playing with his new camera phone that he just got a week ago, and taking pictures of me and crap. I take the phone to look at the picture and BAM, I drop it right in my drink....OMG I was freaking out. I figured Alex would be pissed, but he actually surprised me. I start crying in the place, cuz I'm feeling so bad and Alex is just laughing....gosh it was horrible. But we made the best of it and actually had a great meal joking about how his phone just slowly died and finally went into eternal rest at 8:29 which is what his phone still says. We hummed taps as we said our goodbyes (hah we were DRUNK by this point)
Today, was major clean up day. We hadn't done laundry in like a week so we were sooo behind. I got the last minute items for my halloween costume and then relaxed the rest of the day. Alex goes to vacuum a few min ago, and Sophie gets so scared, so I went to pick her up, alex starts the vacuum and she flips and my whole arm is now torn to shreds...it hurts soooooooooo bad and my arm is all scratched and puffy. Poor thing, she HATES the vacuum, her tail gets all fluffy and all that. Owell, the price u pay for tryin to be a good momma!
oh yeh, so my mom calls me up on Fri and is like "guess what I just did?" I'm like what, "I GOT A TATTOO!" I"m like WHAT! hahah she got a tattoo of a rose on her foot! She's turning 60 in a week on Tues and she's like so I did it for that. Everybody is like "is she having a mid life crisis?" hahah I just can't believe she did that but omg it's so freakin CAYOOOOOTE! I just can't believe it...the goof.
well I guess I was able to make a full update.
tomorrow is halloween and Imma be a cat. I will take pics cuz we have a huge contest at work so that will be fun, then we got candy to pass out to the kiddos (if we even get any) Alex is going to be a cowboy sherriff and is bringing kitty to work and she's gonna be a princess...hehe we switched rolls, I"m a kitty and she's a princess..yah yah gay I know..
