So yesterday, I had my first Anthropology test, it went relatively well, so I'm crossing my fingers for the best:) Also started my first official (paying) job in Food Services at school, so yay for money! However, I need to find fashionable shoes that are also somewhat sensible because my feet are starting to hate me. Maria got mad at me because I somehow failed to wipe down the counter while I was serving three other people, bah! Its all good though, I like the people I work with for the most part, so it should be fine. People in my Kickboxing class are crazy, like half of them are bitchy housewives with "little brats" at home that they can't stop complaining about, or if its not their kids that they are bitching about, they are bitching about their jobs, or whatever. I am glad that I went to class though (not that I wasn't going to go), but I was tired and I was thinking I wouldn't have felt that great after doing crazy kickboxing moves, but I ended up feeling marvelous, even though my mother went crazy and got huffy because I was ten minutes late for her to pick me up after class was over. Oh, and I went to the Power of One: LGBT Leadership conference this weekend, that was lots of fun. Learned lots of stuff, met lots of fun (and some very cute) people. I went with Rebecca, we drove over on Thursday afternoon, and I don't really think that the two of us should ever be allowed to go out together ever again. We had way to much fun. We prank called some administrators at school, good stuff, said things like "We just got pulled over by the cops" (which was actually true, Rebecca accidentally started driving on a sidewalk type thing. It wasn't really clearly marked, it had a sign that said conference this way, and it had that little dip that looks like a driveway, and it had a sign that said 10 miles an hour, so we thought we were ok, but I guess it was just for school vehicles or something ridiculous like that), and other horrendously harassing messages included: "We need bail money," "That road sign says no wide loads beyond 11 feet, what do we do Jenn?" "Where do baby goats come from, and how is it that they are able to stand, walk and jump within 12 hours of birth?" plus other hilarious anecdotes, and apparently, Jenn and Sheryl, who were the brunt of our merry prankstering, shared all of our messages to the entire Student Activities staff. We took some heinous photographs of each other, some of which I don't think I will be sharing with anybody, and its not that they are extremely bad either, I just don't think some people would get the twisted behavior behind it. Hmmmm, other things have been happening, but I just can't seem to remember what at the moment. Oh, I know, totally irrelevant to anything or hardly even worth mentioning, but I've started writing letters to Sarah again, and I will probably start writing other people too, like you Elspeth. I don't really know anybody else that really lives that far away that I have kept and maintained some sort of relationship with, so I guess it will just be those two, wheee!
