So last night was the Pink Prom, snohomish county's glbtq youth dance, and oh my god, talk about having fun. with the exception of a few songs, i danced pretty much the entire night, even though i didn't really know how to dance. luckily, i was rescued by this dashing young man who valiantly tried to teach me how to dance. i had lots of fun, especially with his crotch pressed up against my ass, grinding like there was no tomorrow. then we kind of did this slow dance to one of sting's songs, ::sigh:: i think i was in heaven last night, it was everything i ever wanted in a dance for the most part. no seriously, i've never been to a dance where it didn't matter if you danced a man or a woman. i danced with a couple ladies last night too, which was also fun, most of the women i had danced with before were boring as hell. i kind of scared my friend christy though when i started grinding with her during one song but then her girlfriend gave me this look like she was going to beat the living crap out of me, so i kind of stopped dancing with her. oh, and my friend marina was there, i haven't seen her in almost a year, so that made me happy, we danced a little bit too. and it certainly wouldn't have been a gay dance if i hadn't gotten into a disagreement with someone about the color of the vest i was wearing (i say its burgundy, he said it was dark red). anyways, the last dance was of course last dance by donna summer (coincidence? i think not!) and i made this guy start dancing with me, but he kind of ran away after the beat picked up, how sad! then everbody went to beths and i wanted to go, but my mother came to pick me up, but then she said why don't we go, so we drove down and got lost a couple of times because she wouldn't listen to me when i said that we got off on the wrong exit. we finally found it though, and then we locked the keys in the car. we went in to beths and ordered and then a couple people tried asking around for a thingy that you use to open a locked car, but nobody had one, and then we called AAA, and someone finally came. we headed home around 2:30, and spent the entire trip home arguing about this guy that my mother thinks is into me. he might be, i dunno, i'm bad at judging these things. she wants him to be her son-in-law. ::rolls eyes:: hes a sweet guy, i suppose i wouldn't mind dating him ;) oh, and call me weird if you must, but i find it fucking gorgeous that he loves being with little kids too.
dancing,
thats so gay!,
gay-ness,
