Non-grumpy but short posting!
I was able to get my shot after all, so yay!
After the shot, I came home, and stacked some firewood in prep for next winter. Makes me feel so butch(!!!), but it was quick and easy work. A friends family had felled some trees, and were looking to get rid of it, so free is good, right?
Anyways, then my dad came and picked me up for dinner. We were both in the mood for pizza, and the owner of our favoritest place had passed away recently [His obit said cancer. Too many people seem to be dying from cancer], so we were going to go by and give our condolences, but they were closed, soooo no luck there. Ended up going to another place and nomming on some tasty stuff at Round Table.
Then cards with the grandparents. Don't see them nearly enough, but my grandma finally got hearing aides a few weeks ago (OMG YAY! BEST THING EVER). So cards were good, but my dad and I lost. We play on teams, and this was my first time with my dad in years, so that was a nice change of pace, but we just couldn't seem to sync up on getting the cards right. BUT! Still had fun. :)
