(In case you can't tell) I will be watching the new new Indiana Jones movie in about 16 hours. I'm very excited. In anticipation for the event, my step-dad and I were discussing the series. He wound up asking me what my favorite part of the series. My answer? All of the third movie.
Why?
1. Harrison Ford & Sean Connery > Everybody else
2. the opening scenes. I love how much backstory is packed into the first twenty minutes.
3. The blimp scene = Ford & Connery with no pants. true facts!
4. The bad guys. "Doctor Jones...don't trust anybody!"
5. "Dad." "What?" "Dad." "What?" "Dad." "What!?" "Head for the fireplace!"
6. Random trivia: Spielberg wanted to do a James Bond movie. He wasn't allowed to so he created the character of Indiana Jones. Who better to play Indy's father then the original Bond himself? :D
7. IMMORTALITY. Dude, Indy drank from the Grail. If they don't address this in the new movie I'll be PISSED.
