Quick update so you don't think I died
Vacation was great, wonderful dinner with friends, relaxation and a camping trip to Pennsylvania with the mom
Class is fun, have had this professor before a few years back-figure I am in for a break when he greets me with a hug and spends time after class telling me about he and the wife.
We don't brag BUUUTTTT, Michael has a permanent art installation over at the bank. Six photos that will rotate out and change up every month. Tons of buzz about this from clients of all sorts and many business cards distributed. There is talk from the marketing department that he may be tapped to do more installations at other branches, showcase their community.
Plans to spend a long weekend with my father in DC later this month are finalized.
Working on the house, finally finishing both our studios/guest room. Purchased new desks and such.
Low key 4th-heard the fireworks and grilled out-no real want to travel into the crowds.
Saw Wicked last Friday and enjoyed it more then expected. I wasn't sure how the book would translate into a musical but I think the production stands on it's own. Shame Columbus crowds are still such a disappointment-though it was amusing to see all the little kids very disappointed this wasn't the wizard of Oz :)
ON the flip side saw Tranformers yesterday and thought it was great-mindless action but great. More amusement at the clueless parents who seemed to think this was a movie for a little kid-it's PG-13 for a reason dopes.
Happy to see so many more folks jumping on the green bandwagon, we have stopped bagging our groceries-or anything else for that matter (we bring the cloth hippie totes), swapped out the lightbulbs, located recycling areas, reduced everything, and well we have been eating locally and members of the co-op and such forever now. We do a bunch of other things as well, hoping to make some small difference.
Summer is summer, most of the time I am too busy to really be on this thing-I need to catch up with a number of people though-apologies all around there.
Enough rambling for now.
