I haven't been loggin on my journal much after what has happened to our country. Reading about it makes me sad and helpless. I've been overseas in Europe spending some time with Satoshi and that only made me feel worse once it happened. I was scared for my friends and family and felt even more helpless because I wasn't there to do anything.
Then I thought to myself, I'm a musician with very low education. What can I do to help? Sure Shi and I donated money but I want to do something more I want to be there helping my people. All I have is my music and people are making me doubt that my skills will help. Music is for entertainment and is not needed now. Maybe they are right? Until I saw this piece of mail from a fan.
"When I was having a hard time at the shelter I was listening to Sadie on my iPod the whole time. I kept listening to True word. I was saved by Sadie. Thank you very much. It's still hard here but I won't give up!"
That is why I will play. I will do what I can to help. Music is a strong part of people's lives and its a very strong part of mine. I will play with all my heart for everyone.
I ask that if you are able to bring your friend. Bring who you can. Let us ease some the stress even if its only for one night.
