(no subject)
Party was decent. Had a goodly number of people there. I was just sort of bleah, unfortunately. Got a good set of presents and gift cards. Yay! I still need to send thank you notes, though...
Ok, this week wasn't bad at all... Had a dermatologist appointment on Tuesday to see about ingrown hairs and some bumps on my arms. He couldn't do anything for either. Apparently all he could recommend for the ingrown hairs was laser hair removal. And the bumps are benign but untreatable. But he didn't like the way one of my moles looked, so he had it sliced off and sent for a biopsy. So I got a small hole in my skin. Kinda sucks, and it's been bugging me on and off since then.
My electrolyis appointment didn't work out this week, no big deal.
Lindy hop was fine, though Hime gets nauseous too easily.
Umm... I went to go fix up the computer at the dance studio I take at, trying to set it up for more of a jukebox. One of the instructors let me know that a few of the other students had expressed concern over having a transgendered female there, but instead of telling me not to show up, he suggested I work to look and dance better than anyone else out there, let it be known I was taking private lessons, show up for more of the group classes, so on and so forth. So... I guess I'll take his advice.
Today I was trying to go to "Out In The Park", a gay pride event in Chesapeake, but I didn't head out until later. It had started raining some, so everyone was already leaving. That was a bit of a bummer.
So, a few interesting things happened this past week, but nothing major.
Oh, actually... I'm going to be a volunteer at the YMCA for their Harvest Festival. So that's cool. ^_^
