I think this was what I wanted to post about...
Two weeks ago, I was sitting in the back room on a break, talking to my manager about how great the diet program is and about needing to get into a blitz because I'd managed to put back on a little weight (and eating a chocolate chip cookie because I'd completely neglected to bring anything to eat for myself). On the way home, I realized that I didn't need to wait for a blitz. A few weeks earlier, my diet coach had said that all of us (in class) should have a weight that set off the alarms for us. And I realized that Friday that I was creeping far too close to that weight for comfort. So, I've been blitzing, following the healthy solutions diet as best I can on my own, and it's paid off. Whereas I was close to ten pounds above where I think I should be maintaining only a few weeks ago, I'm only five, now. So, with focus, a goal, and a fair amount of willpower (I work in a coffee shop), I know I can get back down to where I should be.
For now, I finish my coffee, try not to fall back asleep, and head off to work. But I have the whole weekend off!
