Whining
I vented a lot about this last night, so if you were here for the explosion, don't bother reading this.
Here's the situation: Mere days before they plan to release a doll, Luts announces it. A re-release that they only explain on the Q&A board in answer to a collector's concerns that they were releasing a duplicate of a doll they swore was limited to one release the first time in 2005. Yes, the Breakaway. No pictures to allow us to see what changes have been made and verify that he is still the Breakaway we all love. No release time to let us know when to be hunkered down in front of our computers eagerly clicking the reload button. Eventually, they post pictures, still no release time. Come the day of the release, I sit at my computer for three hours trying to get this doll. When it is finally released, I put one in my cart and begin payment process. Five minutes of "payment processing" later, I get an error message in Korean. Umm... Hello? English website. I don't read Korean! The only English in the window is the "OK" button, so I click and am taken back to my shopping cart. WTF? So I select "make payment" again, and I get an error message (in English this time) that quantity ordered exceeds quantity in stock. WTH? They sold a doll out of my shopping cart? While I was trying to pay for it! What kind of system is that? Cue explosion and angry message on the Q&A board. This morning, this is my response from Luts:

Maybe so many customers crowded to buy DF Breakaway on our website so it had an error when you ordered it on our website.

Sorry? You screwed up a Limited release, and all you can say is 'sorry'? Yeah, Luts may well have lost my business for good, save for whatever purchase I make to spend the store credit I have with them. Which means getting my Moon second-hand and my Remmy from Blue Fairy. I'm willing to take my chances with FairyLand to get my MiniFee, since it means I won't be dealing with Luts.
As for Breakaway, I'd been planning to replace my BW Hara, and Breakaway was one of the dream dolls for taking up the role of Kyo. I guess that means I'm back to NS Hara for Kyo. Or I bug someone on my Flist who actually got one to sell him to me.
