Moving Day
Which may still be three to six months away. But it's been on everyone's mind and talked about a lot. Sean, para-chan, L-chan, and I will be moving into the house his father owns in San Jose, assuming that the realtor who has failed to sell it for the past year continues to fail to sell it before he fires her at the end of the month.
I'm really kind of excited and apprehensive about it. There are a lot of compromises to be made, a lot of plans, and a lot to pare down before then. I know we have the time, but I don't want to procrastinate, either.
For those of you panicking that your friends are getting farther away, our new home is less than ten minutes away from our current one. And there are still things that need to be done before we can move in (other than firing the real estate agent).
I don't know why I suddenly felt the need to babble about this here. It was just what was on my mind. Maybe tomorrow, if we have time while we're out running around, we can stop by and see the place.
