Dollless Heads and other plans
So, according to the USPS site, my Demian and Eliud (Damian and Elliot?) heads have arrived in San Jose. Which means that they should be here tomorrow!
My first plan is not to buy them bodies. I'm still saving up for Xan. I told para_chan214 that she could use them for face-up practice, and I may pick up a wig or two to try on them, just to get a feel for which of them will (eventually) be Ryou-inu. After that, I may actually choose to sell one of them. Still, Xan first. I've already put off his purchasing another three months (at the rate I save) in order to bring these heads home. That should still give me plenty of time to have the money for him before October (Disneyland trip!) even with three cons planned this year (Fanime, Dollectible, and Y-con).
After that, one body. Not sure which body, but one. Possibly an SD10 (or SD9) pureskin (57cm). Ryou is short, and while all my other short dolls are tall sculpts (thanks to Dream of Doll and their big and beautiful 64 cm boys), I really want Ryou to seem short. And he will compared to the DOD boys and the Hound that para-chan will be bringing home.
Somewhere along the way, I'd like to get an Angel Region Cien. I keep going back to him as a potential for Jhrdwyn (Jordan, for those of you who wonder what all those consanents are for -- spelling stolen from a friend of a former friend). He's just pouty/sulky enough to be the sleeping godling.
Also on the wishlist are the following dolls. Oddly enough, none of them are a specific character. They're just dolls that have appealed to me.
Soom Tan Godo (there's one that's been for sale on DoA for ages and they're sold out on the site, but Xan first!)
Blue Fairy Nicky because he's so adorable and we need more MSD sized dolls in the house. He and Jhrdwyn and para-chan's planned Blue Fairy Jerome (Saxon) can cause all sorts of hypothetical trouble.
Dolkot Limited Edition (Loon) Leaf. This is the "Moon" Leaf, but rather than having the big giant Leaf eyes or the sleeping head sculpt, it has partially open eyes. A very pretty sculpt.
I think I've officially fallen out of love with Dolkot's Ryu. I knew it was only a matter of time.
Beyond that there is a pipe dream of some day having a Cerberus Project Elf El, particularly the one that was limited edition this past Christmas (and sold out wat too fast, but that's okay, because I'm saving for Xan).
