Getting together the summer reading list
I always have reading plans for the summer, some summers are more successful than others. Here's what I know I'd like to take on:

My Antonia
Pale Fire
Light in August
Lolita
The Brothers Karamazov
Some iteration of the story of Jason and the Argonauts
Middlesex
The Metamorphoses
The Handmaid's Tale
Tristan and Iseult
Suggestions? My lists are never current, so suggestions for books that aren't older than I am will be much appreciated. Short stories and sci-fi suggestions would be especially nice, although if something gets my ire up you'll be treated to a long boring A BLOO BLOO BLOO BLOO post about how I've been offended by something. You've been forewarned!
And on the A BLOO BLOO BLOO watch, I'm going to start working on my post for Danny Boyle's sci-fi mess Sunshine.
