A little more Ron Paul blogging...

I can't believe I left out one of the other things that motivated me to make that Ron Paul post.

Check out this out: Ron Paul on Racism. That right there is a link to Paul's "Racism" plank in his platform. When I told Grant the very brief version of why Ron Paul is a racist, I only had the newsletter to go on. And while I don't care that that ( Read more... )

You have made my day, anonymous troll.

Really? Is that what welfare does, says that all of the Black (and white and Hispanic and Asian) people receiving governmental assistance are inherently dumb? I'd agree with you that the system ain't perfect, but saying BLOO BLOO BLOO NO HELP FOR ANYONE CONSTITUTION!!!!!! is not the answer.

And no, I don't have to give him a pass on the newsletter. I don't care if it was written by a ghostwriter, it had Ron Paul's name on it. Paul's explicit approval. And if he couldn't be bothered to check his own 8 page newsletter before it was sent out, then he's criminally stupid. I find it more likely that he knew full well what was in that newsletter and didn't even care. What do I care about the New York Post? Paul's pulled thegrown-up equivalent of pointing to someone else and saying "NU-UH!" I see that kind of lousy argument from my Freshman Comp students all the time. I'm not going to put up with it from a grown man who should know better.

Hokie's done a very good job of explaining to you (which you probably won't read anyway, troll) why "Abortion rights aren't in the Constitution!" is a bunch of crap. Ron Paul supports ending the war on drugs, but where in the Constitution does it say you have a right to smoke weed? Nowhere. It's one of your beloved "individual choices" which for some reason you and Dr. Paul think is a-okay while women can't be trusted to make the "individual choice" about what to do with their own damn bodies.

Individual choices and liberty are great. But I don't think we're thinking of the same thing when we see those phrases. You're talking about a kind of limited, exclusive sort of "individual choices" and "liberty" that is defined by Ron Paul's racist, anti-woman, anti-immigrant, anti-a whole lot of other things world view. And I don't want any fucking part of that kind of "liberty".

Not only does it have Ron Paul's name on it, Ron Paul owns the copyrights; the text, literally, belongs to him. Ghostwriting's always work-for-hire, so the copyrights transfer on acceptance.
