“HE’S AWAKE!” exclaimed aiba loudly running throught he door to the back where the 2 of them were. “Sho’s awake?” said ohno getting up from where he was. He went inside the house to see Sho sitting at the dining table drinking some Nori made for him. it was now noon as well as a holiday so no one worked except Akira. Ohno came in smiling and putting a hand on his shoulder. “how are you feeling?” before sho can answer, mizumi came and pushed ohno out of the way looking at sho in the eyes. “that dart I shot you was a pretty strong one.” She examined his pupils carefully. Sho just sat there staring back. She held up a finger. “follow my finger.” She moved her finger left and right slowly so she can see if she was feeling okay. she put her finger down and smiled. “you’re fine. I never had to use any of my darts on a human before so I was worried something might have mutated and grown in you.”
Sho silently gulped looking at the ground. “are you serious?” he said in a shaky voice. mizumi looked with an intense gaze. “well I used a sleeping dart meant for other creatures. For humans i have another mix, but the one I had at my animal shelter was the creature one so I had no choice.” Sho frowned thinking why he was shot with a sleeping dart in the first place. Mizumi turned around and left to go back to the back yard, but stopped for a moment and turned around back at the group saying bluntly. “oh and if you were wondering why I shot you, it was because you were being noisy.” The group snickered remembering the scene. Sho made a scowled face at everyone.
Jun walked on set to film his new drama. he was in a good mood seeing that he found the daughter of Athena. His plan could now move on. He silently sang an arashi song in his head as the hair dresser readied his hair. “you’re sure in a good mood today.” Said the hair dresser. Jun smiled. “is it someone special?” the hairdresser asked again. Jun laughed. “something like that” Just then Nino came into jun’s dressing room. “jun-kun I got your text. What is it?” Nino plopped down on the red couch taking out his ds playing. Jun frowned. “don’t you have work today?”
“the old man says he had a fishing date with Aiba. Oh pity, and I thought I can get him to join outside. Oh well.” Jun glanced at his hairdresser. It was bad to talk about business in front of a mortal. “Kei-san that’s enough. You can go now.” The hair dresser nodded stopping what he was doing and left the room.” Jun glared at nino. “be careful next time you bring up this business.” Nino put his ds down and glared back. “just tell me what you have found out. I don’t like to be mad with you Jun!” Jun breathed and calmed down. “I found her.” Nino slowly put down his ds and got up. “really?” he smiled slyly. “does your father know?” Jun nodded. I told him last night. But I need your help too.” Nino put his hand on his friend’s shoulder. “Anything please ask.” “The daughter of Athena has a companion and I want you to take care of her.”
Aiba was in his metals hop out back of the girl’s homes making armor. He felt as if he lived there. Eversince he was discovered by Rin everything in his world seem right. He enjoyed making armor for the girls and himself. Sometimes even fashionable items to hide the girls aura. A special metal prevented their aura from being seen. Just the right amount of it can hide your aura from head to toe. He was proud of himself. But he was there this time to make a special armor for sho as advised by Noriko to keep self combustion from happening. It was now the evening time. Noriko had explained earlier that afternoon to sho who he was and if he was willing to take the chance to go with the awakening process.
“will it hurt me in any way?” he asked Noriko. Rin was there as well with Akira. akira had requested the night off. Noriko felt her skin tingle as he asked the question remembering her first time. “no.” she said confidently hiding her fears. “ you’ll be fine. You’re a strong man, I’m sure you’ll do fine.” Sho still didn’t believe her. “I don’t know…” Yori rushed in huffing and puffing. “I GOT MORE NEWS FROM PERSEPHONE!” Yori held up a flying letter addressed to them.
She opened the letter on the table island as everyone gathered around in the kitchen. As the letter opened, a puff of smoke appeared revealing persphone’s faced. It was like a hologram. The could see and hear her at the same time. “I found out what they are going to do. Hades and Julius are teamed up with Mars Ultor; the God of war as well as his son Nox. Their plan is to release mars with the help of the daughter of Athena. I advise that you all take precautions. If they ever get a hold of her, and release Mars, they will go against Zeus and the rest of the Gods. Hades has been building an army for years; the biggest I have ever seen. This may be the largest battle of the Gods yet.” Persphone then quickly looked to her right. “he’s coming! That’s it I have for now. Good luck!”
Her face disappeared as the remains of her image turned into dust. Sho blinked for a few minutes taking it in while everyone was silent. “a war with the Gods?” said ohno. “and they want me to release Mars Ultor but i…” rin became quite. They all looked at her. “you know don’t you.” Said mizumi in disbelief. Rin nodded. “I….i thought it was just coincidence, but I may have met with….Elenor! she…she claimed herself as the Witch of Endor. I remember she wanted to give me something that may help me so I agreed. A whisp of aire surrounded me for a moment giving me all these information and there it was…the information to release Mars Ultor…” she frowned closing. “how can this happen…”
“that settles it. we must act quickly.” Noriko got up. “sho, please make your decistion quickly. If we don’t act now and somenow Rin is caught; this maybe the end for human kind as we know it.” Sho was hesitant for a few moments then nodded. “alright. I’m willing.” Mizumi frowned disappointed but said nothing. Yori saw her frown and touched her hand meeting her eyes. She nodded to mizumi that everything will be okay. aiba, make a brace for sho. We’ll do it tonight. Yori, Mizumi, Ohno and aiba, get the chamber ready for the awakening process. Akira stay by Rin’s side at all times and watch out for her.” She looked at her friend struck with the news that involved her. ‘we won’t let them get to you my friend’ said Noriko. Akira hugged Rin saying everything will be okay.
Aiba put the armor in water cooling it off. it was ready. It was a good thing Sho was just his size. He made some armor for himself and at the beginning of the month just in case he needed them. but since sho was the one in need, he gave them up for sho instead. The only piece he need was the chest plate and that was it. Ohno came into the metal shop to check on aiba. Aiba noticed him right away. “Ohno use your powers to get more cold water so this piece of armor can cool faster please.” Ohno nodded and pulled out a sphere of water just as he was practicing for a couple of weeks now. Aiba heard the water outside being moved. Once the blob of water got into the shop the water was the size of a tennis ball. Aiba saw the size and laughed as ohno dropped the water onto the armor. At contact, the water sizzled turning into air.
Ohno frowned. “it’s okay Oh-chan. I’ll get more water myself to cool it off.” aiba grabbed a bucket and went outside. Ohno followed. “how does this usually go aiba.” Asked ohno. Aiba scooped up a bucket of cold water from the river running through the yard. “I don’t know. This is my first time seeing someone being awakened too. I just hope nothing bad happens to sho-chan.” “and if it does?” said ohno concerned. Aiba stood where he was. “I don’t know. But..” he started walking back to the metal shop. On the way he patted ohno’s back. “let’s not think about it ne? there are bigger things at hand as well.” Ohno nodded. “okay.” he turned around and went back.
Down in the awakening chamber, mizumi, and yori was setting up. Yori blew off the dust of the case containing the large candles. “ugh..how many years has it been since she used this stuff?!” Yori made a disgusted face. The chamber was dark; lit by a iron chandelier with lightbulbs. The floors were made of stone as well as the walls. It reminded them of the old chambers in the castles during the medieval age. “it’s creepy down here don’t you think mizumi?” she turned around t osee her sweeping the floor and preparing to draw the circle where Noriko and sho would be standing in. she only nodded. Yori sighed but decided not to say anything. She hummed happily to herself taking out the candles. It seems as if they were still new.
“you think she’ll be more careful this time?” mizumi said suddenly. Yori turned around putting the candles down where mizumi had drawn the circle. “he’ll be fine. I believe in her and you must too.” She stopped for a moment to realize what she had said and laughed. she saw mizumi giving her a ‘are you serious’ face. “sorry” said yori laughing still. “ I totally forgot. So if she doesn’t succeed, what will you do?” Mizumi bit her lips then spoke. “first of all, just think. He’s a part of Arashi. Do you realized how crazy it will get if he died? And no one was allowed to know why? What if we were discovered? We all can be in danger here!” Yori thought for a moment realizing that what she was saying was true. “then let’s just hope it’s successful.” Said yori in a quiet voice.
The door to the chamber opened. The other girls came in, following sho and the other guys. Yori tried to keep her laughter in when she saw sho. His face was in pain. “too heavy for ya eh?” Yori said smiling wide. Mizumi couldn’t help but smile as well. “gomen sho-chan. Once you’re awakened, your sense will be clear and you’ll be able to hold the weight of the armor.” Said aiba rubbing the back side of his head. “Shall we start?” said Noriko. The others nodded. “sho stand in that circle.” Said Norko. Sho did just as she instructed. He walked awkwardly to the center. Yori, Aiba, Ohno and akira laughed. Mizumi stood in front of him. she got a look at his face and laughed. it was his disappointed faces as seen on VS arashi. “It’s okay Sakurai-san.” She said quietly. “I’m sure you have your full trust in Noriko right?” before sho can answer, mizumi quickly left to stand with the others. Noriko stepped I dressed in work out wear. She smiled at him. “you ready?” Sho looked at her and tried to calm his beating heart by taking in a deep breath. “hai.” “alright. Close your eyes” sho closed his eyes.
Noriko walked over and placed a finger on his forehead and another at the center of his chest. She focused pouring her aura into him. In a split second sho felt his body burning up. His head then started to hurt and spin. Soon he saw nothing but darkness as his eyes rolled back. Ohno suddenly jumped at what just happened. Sho was glowing a bright gold and was in midair as well as noriko. They both had their eyes and mouth open with the gold aura shining. Ohno hid behind Aiba scared. The others just watched. Mizumi dug her nails into herself feeling uneasy.
Noriko was now inside of sho’s mind searching for the lock that kept his powers hidden. Every person’s mind was different. Her surroundings was like a maze; yet hthat’s how each person’s brain was. Like maze but a different path everytime. She had only 30 minutes before Sho would combust and die. As she ran into the maze she noticed the arrows on the ground leading her. She smiled “perfect! It’s like his mind wants him to be awakened.” She ran following the arrows guiding her way. 10 minutes passed and she was huffing and puffing for air. “Why is this taking longer? I know the way…damn you Sakurai-san..why does your mind have to be so complex?!” she continued running.
Rin looked at her watch. 12 minutes have passed. “she’s half way out of time.” She told the others. “she needs to work faster.” Said Yori “or we’ll be in trouble.” Noriko ran and ran finally seeing a giant lock. She smiled happily finding it finally. She put her palm on the lock and it glowed a solid orange color. Suddenly a voice boomed above her. “who dares tries to unlock my son’s powers when it’s not time?” Noriko stepped back to see a human shape form before her. It was a muscular male whom seems to be in his early 30’s. “Who are you? And why do you invade Solaris’s mind?” Noriko stepped back. It was a God in Human form. “My name is Nitsa, daughter of Hestia. I’ve come to awaken him for the world may be in danger and I need his help.”
The man looked at her. “I see…this is about hades correct? Zeus has been telling us that the underworld has been quiet for quite sometime now. We also suspect something is going on.” Noriko nodded. “Can the Gods as well as my mother help us out? Us Demigods on earth are joining together to prevent another war of the gods. Hades is planning to invade Mount Olympus. He has an army and with Mars Ultor’s help, they will charge at Mount Olympus.”
