I want to dance naked on the moon with poetry
--Today was okay. Mostly boring. Nothing of note. I played War(the card game) with Allison in the lull between customers. And traded Pokemon with Richard.
--Yesterday I went shopping though. Which was pretty fun. It's been sunny here lately, and since we close early on the weekends I had time to do shopping. I went to the mall yesterday, which is like two blocks away from where I work. I need to get a new bra and such things. All in all I got two new bras (and found out I'm like a whole cup size smaller than I was like three years ago...), three pairs of boy shorts, three new shirts, and a skirt.
Then even though I'd already spent enough money, I decided that a trip to the mall wasn't complete without going to Barnes N' Noble. And lately I've been thinking I want to go back to studying the Japanese language. I took three years of it in high school, but I've forgotten so much of it. My sentence structure is an absolute terror. So I picked up an instruction book on basic conversational Japanese. And my other weak point in Japanese was always kanji. In my last year of high school, we learned 100 kanji. I remember like ten. Not counting the numbers. So I picked up a book called "Essential Kanji" as well, to hopefully learn more.
Then I made the mistake of going to the manga section. I didn't actually plan on buying anything, but well, then I saw "Absolute Boyfriend" which is the English version of Zettai Kareshi, that show I'm watching. So I bought the first three volumes of that. All in all I spent about $70 over what I wanted to spend. I'm limiting myself this week. Even if it means no Taco Bell. Thankfully Friday's payday.
--On that note, the manga of Zettai Kareshi is entirely different from the show. Like, I expected it to be different. Any show is going to be different from the manga. It was like that with Hana Kimi and HanaDan too. But at least they were some what similar. These two though, are just entirely different. I mean, the manga setting is High school, while the drama setting is an office workplace.
I enjoy both of them though. I'm gonna have to find a place to download the manga or soemthing, because I don't have the money to spend on the next three volumes. And I can't wait for the next episode to come out.
I hope she ends up with Soushi. No spoilers though, for anyone who has seen it. Grace
