So Christmas was okay. I didn't get into any huge arguments with my step-mom or anything this year.
Xmas eve Dad and Cindy had people over and they got drunk (off wine because they're all wine geeks)and played a game called "oodles of doodles" which is fun to watch drunk people play. Especially when a guy was drawing what was supposed to be a pair of scissors and Cindy's all "Balls! Cherries!" or what was supposed to be a paper cutter and Cindy, "A squished titty!" My step mother ladies and gentlemen.
Xmas morning went well. The only part that made me mad is that we didn't leave for my aunt Laura's until like 10:40 and it takes at least an hour to get there. and half the people usually leave by a little past noon. And then apparently we had to stop somewhere else on the way there first too. So we didn't get there until like noon thirty. And we came in, gave my aunt Sissy a hug, hugged everyone else, then aunt Sissy left. She was the only one I really cared to see at all.

Apparently once kids turn 18 most of them stop giving presents. Which is why David got two gift cards to Best Buy from Aunt Laura, Uncle Rick, and Monica and I didn't get anything from them. Whatev though.
We left there about 2:30 and got to mom's where we watched TV for a few minutes then opened presents. Much better selection here.

The only thing that really went wrong at Mom's is when everybody was sitting there doing nothing. Mom was doing something in the kitchen, David was upstairs, I was on the phone with Cassie but she was watching something, so I thought I'd pop in a movie. So I went and grabbed Sense and Sensibility to put in and Mom was like "Hell no", so she suggested the Simpson's movie, which I really wasn't up for watching. So I suggested the Full Metal Alchemist movie which David agreed with, but of course mom didn't. So we got into a stupid argument about it which ended in her doing the "Fine, do what you want, I don't care" thing. We did end up watching FMA.
At some point my grandma came back from my Aunt Amy's. I saw my cousin Cameron for the first time in like three years. Kid's fucking tall. Taller than David. It was weird, though I suppose I wouldn't quite say awkward.
Work today. Was boring. I didn't even have stupid people to deal with. And it's slowed down a lot.Plus we were understaffed a little, because of course everybody scheduled to work today didn't want to so they called in sick. I almost did, but I knew that other people would, and I didn't want to be that person. I work again tomorrow then have Friday and Saturday off. Then I work Sunday, Monday, have Tuesday off, then Wendnesday, Thursday, then Friday, Saturday off. Yey for holiday schedules.
