(no subject)
Happy Turkey Day to the people on my F-List who celebrate it.
In related news. My brother's not home. He wasn't home last night. I have the feeling he won't be home tomorrow (for thanksgiving). And he was caught shoplifting the other night. (Which to anyone I know IRL should remain a secret as my mother doesn't want me talking about it on teh intrawebz. --Le gasp--) So yeah. That's fantastic.
And my dad's miffed because he hasn't seen us in three months, and he thinks its "his turn" to have us for Thanksgiving, and he's said he wants to start having weekly lunches with me again, but hasn't set up any date this week, (this after saying he wanted to see me before Thanksgiving), and has cancelled the last three times he talked about coming up.
Mom and David can do nothing but be angry at each other any more, which makes things very awkward for me.
Work has been slow and boring.
I've been having a huge emo trip for several reasons for the last week or so.
But I think right now. Right now, I'm doing pretty good. I had an okay, if slow day at work. I've reaffirmed some things to myself. I got some things out I needed to get out, talked some things out I needed to talk about, am getting along pretty well with co-workers, and am in general feeling a little better about myself. I still feel like I have no direction in life, or that I'm not really good at anything, but I've considered a couple things I might be able to become good at, and yeah. Just in general I'm feeling pretty good about things. I hope this mood lasts for a while.
NewS music also makes me happy and can easily lift my mood. I don't think "Sayaendou" will ever fail to make me smile.
Oh. and Deal or No Deal tonight. That guy. Should have taken the damn $578,000. Dumbass.
Good news. I don't have to work Friday. Three day weekend. Though for some reason next week I have Tuesday and Saturday off instead of Friday and Saturday. Which is just weird. And the first week of December I have morning shift so that's 8:30 to 5:00 instead of 12:30 to 9:00
So. I think in general that's what's going on with me.
