Roll, roll, roll! Roll in ze hay.

o1.)Work's going well. I'm a lot faster and a lot more used to it now. And I'm also not the rookie anymore. There's another new girl named Kayla, who's pretty nice. It makes me feel special though because a lot of the time she's been asking me for help on things, and most of the time I know what I'm doing.

However I need to stop buying stuff. That place is a money pit. For srs.

We had our first ever staff meeting on Saturday and I missed it (for due cause). However Bill went over it with me today and it was just basically our mission statement, because we didn't have one before. Which is something along the lines to "Strive for outstanding service" or something like that. Our store is entirely customer service oriented. We're too helpful sometimes.

Last night I went to dinner with a bunch of co-workers. It was a lot of fun. We went to IHOP, and had the worst waitress ever though. She didn't like the fact that we were a big group, and she didn't do well on her customer service. But there was me, Erin, Gretchen, Chelsea, Micheala, Shannon(who quit on friday to be a 4th grade teacher), Steve, Stacy, and Richard. It was neat just to hang out with all of them and learn more about them.

o2.)Kumori-con is all set and go. Ride. Room. Costumes. A gazillion wigs that I bought in the last two weeks. Now I just can't wait until Friday!

o3.)So Saturday. I saw the new hit musical by Mel Brooks, "Young Frankenstein". Before it's Broadway run. It's fantastic. It's based off the old movie with Gene Wilder and what not. It's got Roger Bart(George in Desperate Housewives, Carmen Ghia in The Producers, and other things), Megan Mullaly(C'mon, c'mon, you all know it.... Karen Walker in Will & Grace), Sutton Foster(The Drowsey Chaperone, Svetlana in Actor's Benefit Chess Concert), Christopher Fitzgerald(Boq in Wicked), and a bunch of other wonderful people.

It was amazing though. The songs are great, Megan Mullaly can really belt. The ensamble was absolutly -ing amazing. It was hilarious. Every other line had the whole audience in shits and giggles. I'm gonna pre-order the OBCR for when it comes out in January. I have Sutton Foster's(Inga's) song "Roll in ze Hay" stuck in my head

Young Frankenstein Preview

I did the stage door after the show. Roger Bart was really nice. Megan Mullaly seemed in a bad mood though. Or just really tired. She did sign autographs though. Sutton Foster was really nice. Chris Fitzgerald didn't come out the stage door though which was disappointing. I really wanted to get his autograph. Being the Wicked nerd that I am. We waited for like twenty minutes. We did catch Shuler Hensey who played the Monster. And since most everyone was gone by then, (They all came for Megan) he stayed and chatted a bit. He was nice.

It was a lot of fun though and I really enjoyed it and I reccommend it to everyone. It opens in Broadway in October. If you're in New York, you should go see it. It's awesome. And that's the same cast that's going to New York as well. So yey.

Honorable Mention: I love Nakatsu. So so so so so so so much. (finally wantched Hana Kimi 8)

life, plans, customer service, i want quiznos, socializing, co workers, i saw it first, broadway, young frankenstein, kumori con, work, ihop
