Wicked Ramblings

So whenever I'm bored and on Youtube, I look up Wicked video's because I'm obsessed. I've seen almost every one up. I like looking at the different actresses portrayals and what not though. Like earlier I was thinking about Julia Murnay and Idina Menzel. I absolutely love Julia, she has an amazing voice and puts a lot of emotion into the preformance. And I was thinking about how everyone loves so and so but Idina's still the best because she was the original. And I still love Idina. She's still really good, and in fact a lot better. I've seen much improvement from some of her first preformances to her run in London. I think what it is though, is that Idina, perhaps because she was the original, her preformance is very generic. The songs sound very much like they do on the soundtrack without a whole lot of emotional emphasis to them like some of the other actresses add. I don't have too big a problem with it, it's just... it's... original. It's the same reason why Kristen Chenowith is probably one of my least favorite Glindas now. I love Kristen's voice and it will always be Glinda in my book. But her preformance, compared to others I've seen is just so... blah. I'm also in love with Megan Hilty's preformance. And Kendra Kassebaum's is pretty good even if I'm not a fan of Kendra's voice. But yeah. That was not the point of this enry. The point of this entry was:
