I've been wanting to take some time to talk about the new Fall anime lineup now that I've watched a couple of series and episodes here and there. I have to say compared to last season, this season doesn't have very many must-sees for me. I mean when my J-teacher asked me what new anime I was looking forward this season, I couldn't really answer. I mean there was stuff I planned to check out but nothing that I was especially enthusiastic about.
So far my 3 picks for anime that I'll prolly watch till the end are.
1. Dragonauts (1-2): This is pretty cool. It kind of reminds me of Code Geass with the whole best friends who become rivals/enemies. And the way the dragons are computer-animated (I guess) and designed kinda makes me think that this is the type of series that they'll make game cards out of like digimon or pokemon or something. Not that it's a kiddy show at all tho. It's very much targeted to guys with all the butt and breasts shots. But it does have enough cool guys in the show to keep me interested. The cool thing about this show is that humans transform into dragons. But the way other humans ride those dragons kinda reminds me of a Sentai show. I'm interested in what's gonna happen between Kazuki (OnoD) and Jin (Kacky). I kinda wish Toa was a boy. That would be awesome. At least Jin's dragon is a male. Well after episode 2, I'm really eager to find out what's gonna happen in episode 3. I hope Jin doesn't become evil with jealousy. Oh yeah, in the first episode OnoD, who plays Kazuki, totally sounded like Sakurai a couple of times. I was like ?__? when I saw the credits and saw it was OnoD. On a side note, it would be cool if this show got a rajiban with OnoD and Kacky hosting. That would be interesting.

2. Suteki Tantei Labyrinth (1-2)
I'm very puzzled by this show because I still haven't got a clue what the main plot is. I mean Seiran, the dolls, Mayuki--they are all just one FUSHIGI MYSTERY~! Haha, that's what this show kinda reminds me of Matantei Loki. Tho, Matantei Loki was much better than this. I like Seiran and I'm very curious to find out the secret of the Hyuuga family, so I'm gonna continue watching this. And I like Kouta and Rakuta..very cute. Tho, the preview for ep. 2 was misleading because I thought ep. 2 was gonna be about them and well it wasn't. Anyhow, I totally knew that was Inoue Marina's voice as soon as I heard it. I really prefer her in boy roles. Her voice sounds so much cooler as a boy.:p
and
3.Gundam 00 (1-2)
One thing's for sure, I like the music of this series. Both the ED and OP are on my mp3 player on loop.
So far, I don't know what to say about this series. I haven't really gotten to know any of the characters enough to take a particular liking to a specific one. But so far, it's been keeping me interested tho, I'm not a big fan of their prolonged war/political talk. I don't find the politics and fighting scenes half as interesting as the Code Geass ones. So I can't really say I'm really INto this series yet. I hope the series gets more intriguing...at least Code Geass was suspenseful. Sorry couldn't help but compare since they're both mecha series.
Shows I think I could go stupid watching
Minami-ke (1): I'm not a boy so maybe I can't enjoy it as much as others might. And I do feel kinda stupid almost like I'm wasting my time watching. There are some funny parts but it's not really a show that makes me laugh like Hayate does. I might give it one more try but if after the second episode it still sucks...I'll drop it.
Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun (1-2): This one has some more stupid girls. But it's quite entertaining. Lots of fanservice for boys in this show. I really don't like the main succubus character...she is too dumb. But her brother is pretty interesting. And Miyata Kouki's character and his master are funny as well. I'll watch this for the laughs.
Maa-maa~
Rental Magica (1): Uhhh...what?? I have no idea what's going on half of the time. FukuJun's chara is cool with the eye thing and all but I'm not really getting what they're talking about half the time. I'm just wondering if the drama cd or novels were like this? I mean is this just a bad stringing together of storyline here. Or is this the type of series that if you haven't read the novels or listened to the drama cds, you might have trouble understanding??? I have no idea. I'll watch another episode...but so far I just can't get into this series.
Shows, I need to watch but haven't yet are Neuro, Bamboo Blade, and Shion no Ou.
