Byousoku 5 Centimeter (5 Centimeters per Second)

I've really be a night owl lately.  Just felt like posting this before I go to bed, tho.
I just finished watching an anime called Byousoku 5 Centimeter.
It kinda reminds me of Bokura ga Ita in a way.
When I first saw the picture and previews, I wasn't sure if it was the type of anime I usually like.  But wow, I'm impressed.  It's sweet simple story about the distance between a boy and a girl.
I really liked how it was done.  It felt like watching a real-life movie.  The seiyuu were so good (esp. the guy playing Takaaki).  For the first story, for the most part, they're reading letters.  I really liked how the seiyuu performed the narrations.
Also if you want a good feel of how Tokyo and the inaka (boonies) of Japan look, you should see this anime.  Incidentally. I've been on a couple of those train lines like the Odakyu to Shinjuku and the Saikyo to Omiya.
I'm really looking forward to them showing when the guy moves to Kagoshima.  I really like when you get to see the different prefectures outside of Tokyo.  Especially, having lived a couple years in the inaka, it gives me 懐かしい思い。
I'm looking forward to the next story!!^o^
