A Magickal Night
After I got the laundry folded the Mistress came and picked me up for food shopping. We grabbed a bite at a Chinese buffet, because you NEVER go shopping on an empty stomach. First stop was Wally World for the canned and boxed goods. Then after stopping for coffee we headed to Shop Rite for some frozen seafood and olives. The Mistress was very impressed with my organization of shopping. She said I had it down to a science where to get what. I also picked up a new cinnamon broom on a whim.
In the car on the way to the house we got into a discussion and a strange thing happened. I said something outlandish and she went to call me crazy, but instead said nuts. That clicked off something in my head and I said we have to go there. We stopped home to drop the first items off and then went back out. NUTZ is a local store that sells a lot of interesting things, In fact the name stands for "New Unusual Trendy Zany". It's one of those stores that I can pass by 100 times and not bat an eyelid and then that one time I pass it i HAVE to stop. Sometimes like this time I have no idea why i just have to go. When we got into the store The Mistress said she could feel the inner peace as soon as we walked in. Suddenly she said that she needed something. I told her that's how this store is. We walked around until I felt a pull from the incense. She continued till she felt a pull from the candles. I grabbed my usual stuff and then bought a few I never bought before. She grabbed eight candles, two color each and then was drawn to the stones. She picked up a Rainbow Moon Stone and I swear her hair flared up! It was so cool. Then we headed to the last store Hannaford.
Hannaford is where I buy all my produce and meats. They have great selection if you have never been there before. Shadowsage thinks it too expensive, but it's really not if you know what to look for. Plus you don't need a stupid card to get great buys. I spent about a half an hour in the produce area alone. I am such a foodie so I have to smell and touch everything. Sage use to hate going shopping with me. He liked to get in and out. Gaerfindel loves to shop with me. We are two foodies just having fun and the kids love to learn about the different foods too.
After I picked up my happy pills we headed home. Gaerfie greeted us and brought the food in as my feet were killing me at the time. I set up the alter and a make shift table for doing a reading. I looked in one of my magick books and found out why I bought the unusual incense. I burned Rosemary for communication(we needed everything because of Mercury)and Pine for protection. Then I did spell with rosemary, rose buds, white bark, and beoment. I added all four elements and placed the glass on the table. The Mistress finally realized what the candles were for. She pulled out a white one and used it to draw energy from Gaerfie and I. I set up mu athame and pendulum and began the readings. They were all very informative and answered a lot of questions. By the time we were done it was past midnight. I suddenly remembered I didn't talk to mitsuki_chi like I promised and immediately felt guilty. I want her to come over today and have lunch and check out the costumes at a Halloween store that pops up only at this time. I hope she doesn't hate me now and thinks I abandoned her.
