What A Great Day!
I set up a play date with findingjes for our Sons to meet. Everyone was a little anxious, because you never know how two kids are going to react to each other. The funny thing is when we got there I realized I on;y knew what Lei looked like not his Mom. I was scanning all the kids for a boy with gorgeous curls and suddenly heard his name called. We met and I called The Gnome over and the two looked at each other, hugged, and then ran off to the slide. I think everyone breathed a sigh of relief after that. Gaerfie and I introduced ourselves and then we sat down to talk while the kids played, but got invaded by lots of bees! After being stung last week, Katydid was stung again! I didn't get my first sting till I was 23 and she gets two in a week! It so unfair. We tried to move, but they kept following us. Fortunatly it didn't stop the kids from having a great time! I was really happy that Gaerfie and thatguyjohnny got along, even with Gaerfie telling his geeky jokes. It's nice for him to have a friend in a fellow Father.

The Mistress came over to have dinner with us. Teriyaki pineapple burgers and cheesy dogs. I wish we all could have had dinner, but they had to go see Lei's Grandma. Maybe next time and there will be a next time i am sure of this.
