Feeling Better And Stronger
We had a lot of fun at the fair Thursday. Both kids were excited to see the animals. I haven't been to a fair in so long I forgot how much fun it can be. We played games and the Gnome rode on a big ride that goes backwards! Katydid kept looking at the really scary rides that go high in the air and said ooohhh! She can do that with her Father when she's older. I hate rides! I get motion sickness. A little hot, but we stayed pretty cool with really yummy lemonade, fresh squeezed is the only way to go.
Katydid had her MRI yesterday. I didn't go, but Gaerfie did. We had to not let her eat or drink till it was time. It was heartbreaking to hear her cry for juice and snack. I sent her outside with her father, because I couldn't stand to look at her anymore. I felt like a tyrant. Game was cancelled because Mitsuki wasn't feeling like herself. I just didn't get to see the e-mail till almost 1500. The Gnome was upset he couldn't go to the hospital, so Grandma let him sleep over instead. We had the little girl in all her cute glory for the night. I made steak with this really good mushroom sauce I had just picked up from the Food Network and smashed potatoes. After a week of soft foods like jello and pudding I was ready to scream. Meat and potatoes is just what I needed. After Gaerfie went to bed I stayed up and set up my alter. Autumn is just around the corner now. I feel really good about this year. I did a few spells for the family, including for Sage to get back to the way he use to be for himself. I found his old Air Force pic and placed it on my alter. Gaerfie said it was a nice offering. I did spells for hope and good luck as well as prosperity. I feel like they really worked too. I did a cleansing spell and burned Sage. I cleansed my heart of most of the anger I have towards The Guest. I know it won't all go away at once, but slowly is healthy too.
Today Gaerfie and Katydid went to Grandma's to do the laundry. I stayed home and did more cleaning. I also relaxed and got back to my creativity. I painted a few figurines and got a jump on Christmas gifts. For lunch I finished the left over steak and then took a nap with out feeling guilty. I made Hawaiian burgers and fries for dinner and made Thai Curry Coconut Chicken soup for my Mom(she's sick now, but not the same thing). I guess that's it. I will close with pics of the fair.
