Just Have To Accept It I Guess

As much as I try, I just can't keep up with friends list on weekends. It sucks! Then when I try and back track on Monday it's over whelming! Plus usually by then any weekend dilemma has been solved. I am really sorry for this revelation. I hope it doesn't offend anyone.

Normally I wait till Monday to blog about my weekend, but since I haven't done a real post since Thursday I figured I will do it tonight. let me break it down for you.

Thursday- Before I went to see Gaerfie in the hospital, I had a visit from the Mistress. She was hopping the train and I offered her to park her instead of paying for parking. She sat around for a bit talking while the kids played in the pool. She kept trying to Get C4 with a bucket of water and finally got him as she was leaving for the train. I mentioned in the Thursday post that Gaerfie looked like shit because of the Gran Mal he had just before we got there. I took pics of him the day we left and when I first saw him with Mitsuki. Here are the pics of the pool and Gaerfie.

Friday-Game was short, but great! We missed Mitsuki, but everyone understood. I figured out dinner too. I took some ground turkey and mixed it with soy sauce, brown sugar, mirin, teriyaki sauce, and orange extract. I sauteed peppers and onions and put them together over a bed of rice. I called it Sweet Orange Ground Turkey Stir Fry. It was yummy! When Hunter arrived i charged the guys with helping me bring our mattress that Sage and Mitsuki gave us upstairs. They had to drag it over to my Mom's house and bring it up her stairs and through the two way closet. it was a bitch and Hunter took out half my room with a big pull. I was greatful for all their help. When The Professor arrived I asked him to take me out to get some snacks to reward the kids. Just then Grandma brought Gaerfie home from the hospital. I squealed with joy making everyone;s ears bleed and ran and hugged him fiercly. When we got back we started game. They fought and killed four manta rays with two heads and poisonous wings. They did great and Commander J. won MVP of the game. He got a new gaming pencil. The Professor hung out with Gaerfie and geeked out for a bit. The Hottie showed up around 2215 and I hung with her and talked. She and The Professor agreed to take us to the Ren Faire1 We just have to agree on a time and day now. She and he are coming over on Monday for dinner to discuss it further. The Professor left to take Bubbie and commander J. home, because Kitty bailed on us like she did on her job. He is really sweet to do that. It is like 20 min. out of his way. The Hottie hung out for a bit longer and then headed home. We crawled into bed to sleep and Gaerfie started having partials and leg seizures. For those who don't understand, if you ever heard Carlos Mencia's joke about the guy in the wheelchair he went on a ride with, that's what it was like. I got the shit kicked out of me all night!

Saturday-Having had a rough night i overslept and Grandma showed up and woke us to go to her house. Gaerfie opted to stay home a recoup some more. C4, Katydid and I piled into the car with this weeks laundry. Grandma wanted to go get a doll with hair to get Katydid ready for her EEG on Tuesday. THis is to show her how the probes go in to moniter the brain. It makes it less scarey. We went to Target and found a Ni Hao Kilan doll. Wow, the head was big! We also picked up some more flash cards and some pretty beads for Katydid. C4 did a great job mowing Grandma's lawn so she gave him $10 for the Faire and I bought him a carmel frappachino, his newest obsession. Katydid stole Grandma's drink and looked so cute I took pics of her. Then we went shopping for dinner. We made shishkabobs with shrimp and chicken. We layered it with tri colored peppers, portabella mushrooms, and pearl onions. I put some hot indian chutney on two of the chicken ones. It was my frist time grilling with charchol and except for burning the corn I did ok! We also had pasta salad with fresh garden basil and tomatoes. C4 said it was great and he even ate the onions! We had traditional Smores for dinner. C4 did a great job helping to clean up. Oh and before I forget everyone has to tune in at 1230 on Sunday for a new show on the Food Network called"$10 Dollar Dinners". The winner of "The Next Food Network Star" is hosting it. It looks really good and who doesn't want to feed the family for that little money, especially with the cost of food these days. I hope you all enjoy it!

In the car on the way over, Grandma mentioned she was getting ready for school(she is a teacher at Mount St. Marys)and C4 said I should too. He asked me to start waking him up at 0500. I thought about what he said and later on when we were watching "Chopped" on the Food network I spoke to him about it. I told him I believe he is really going to try this year and that his comment is a positive way to start. I said since I can't help him with school work because he live far away this year, but I can give him other lessons. I said I don't care what he goes to college for, but that he is going to need certain tools in life no matter what. I offered to teach him how to cook simple, but yummy meals, learn time management, take care of simple chores, and stuff like that. I also told him when he is 18 and in college and needs a place to live he always has one. He could even to college on the internet if he wants to. My Mom even agreed that she wouldn't charge him rent, because he'll always be her grandson and we don't believe in things like that for kids. This made him very happy. We shook on it. Night all.

P.S.- I stopped at a garage sale today and got a new stuffed animal. It either a baby sea lion or a lepord Seal. Here is a pic!
