What A Day!
Thus has been the best day I have had in a month! I have so much to tell you! First it took forever to catch up on my Friends Lj's. I wanted to post to more, but I am so tired. I did read most of them though. i like learning about other peoples lives. That's why I keep making new friends from all walks of life. I suggest everyone read my profile first before they friend me. it is long, but tells you everything you need to know to understand my LJ posts. Ok onto today.
Mitsuki came over to give me a ride to Katydid's Neurologist appointment. I hate asking her to help me, but without a car I am stranded now. She came over and woke me up. I gave C4 directions on breakfast for the kids and headed to my Mom's next door to get Katydid. While there my Mom asked what we were doing after wards. I said I didn't know. She suggested we go to the movies. She said Mitsuki and I needed to go on a date and have some alone time. I said I would ask.
At the Neuro we told him about the abscent like seizure she had in the car a few weeks ago. He tested her reflexes and set her up for an EEG sleep deprived on the 11th and an MRI date to be determined. We have a follow up on the 4th of November. We left and headed to get lunch for everyone. I decided to make my Kicked Up BLT's. it's a BLT with sauteed mushrooms, onions, and peppers. Also the bacon is coated in maple syrup. We ate it on English muffins. It was yummy! We put the kids to bed for naps and headed to the movies to see "Monsters VS Aliens". It was funny and it felt good to be alone with Mitsuki again. We stopped into the Dollar Store and picked up a few trinkets. I saw invitations for The Gnomes birthday with elephants of course. The Halloween stuff was out and I was squeeing all the way down the aisle. Fall is coming soon! Mitsuki picked up a purse for Katydid, but we couldn't find anything for the Gnome. That's ok he will get plenty for his B-day in a few weeks.
We called Gaerfie at the hospital and he was doing fine, but he really wanted to see the kids. I asked Mitsuki and being the wonderful girlfriend and friend she is she agreed. We ran real quick to the bank and then to Wally World for cat food, milk(I forget in the store before), special toothpaste I told her about for helping enamel(she is a big diet soda drinker even though she doesn't need it), and bananas for Gaerfie. We also found a pizza fan for her house and a sun tea jar on clearance for our house. I also found a bomb special for fleas and eggs. I really don't need it, but I don't want to take the chance. Poor Katydid's legs are really bad from scratching.
We picked up the kids and dropped the stuff off home. At the hospital Katydid kept getting compliments, but sometimes they would over look The Gnome. I hope his feeling aren't hurt by this. When people engage him in conversation they think he is going to be four not three. With Katydid she is just cute. I have to teach her that you need brains to get respect in this world, looks are a bonus. We got to Gaerfie and he lit up when he saw the kids. He told me that they said he may be on the wrong meds. They are weaning him off the Trileptol, which is good because it's what makes him need so much salt. We visited for an hour till the kids got into everything. We left and I treated everyone to dinner, dollar menu of course. Mitsuki and I hugged and kissed goodbye and she left.
C4 helped bring the groceries inside and wolfed down his food. He put Katydid to bed, because I was exausted. The Gnome is sleeping in my bed, because he misses Daddy. You know I don't get a chance to say much about C4 unless he is fucking one thing or another up, but he really is a great kid. He does a lot more then he has to with his brother and sister. He never once resented them, because they have different Fathers. He is a very loving human being. He knows I am tired so he brings me drinks to take my pills with. He cares a lot about me. I couldn't ask for a better Son. He will always be first Son for me and my angel. I love you C4.
