Zombies, Conferences, and Mid-Semester Crunch Time!

Deep breath. it'll be ok. I think it will, anyway, now that the craziness is over. Mostly. Just the rest of this week and then it's off to Boston!
Last Monday was my roommate's birthday, so we gave her a Zombie Apocalypse (for serious - like 30 ppl dressed up like zombies for her). Surprisingly, if you get about 30 people or so together dressed and walking like zombies, it's actually a little scary, and definitely disturbing.
Then, starting last Thursday was our first Creative Writing Conference, which was great fun but soooo exhausting. I met lots of ppls who do the same stuff I do, and that was cool, cuz I never had before (my school is small - there are 8 people majoring in my subject this year, only one or two of which focus on poetry like I do).
And of course, it's the middle of the semester so it's busy in the world of classes. But after spring break, I think it'll be time for some serious senioritis. I plan to enjoy my April.
On top of all that fun, allergies have kicked in for the spring. Fortunately they usually only last a couple weeks or so, and they're not as bad at home as they are here, so once I leave on Thursday I should feel better.
Anyway, all this stuff is the reason I haven't updated in like 2 weeks. Hopefully things will be somewhat less chaotic in the near future and I can sleep and then post more! yay!
