unstoppable optimism a.k.a. i love being fluent
A quite necessary update to celebrate my being a complete and utter wonder. I wanted to post yesterday, but I was sleepy plus my sister owned the damn place, so yeah.
Well yesterday I was there, at work, all chilled and relaxed doing my job, when my colleague approached me and said "Hmm... Yeah. We need to call all of these associates... (about a hundred people, no joke) Could you do it for us?"
OMGOMGOMG IT'S TIME
I freaked out. Massive sweating, hyperventilation, shaky hands and other funny stuff like that.
But then, suddenly... Like a summer storm... Once I started, I kept going. And I succeeded. Of course it took me almost two days because of the goddamn high number of people to call, but I did it. When I came out at six yesterday evening, I swear the world around me seemed brighter and more colourful.
I'm so proud of myself. It might seem a trivial matter to most people, but to me it's really a big deal.
