ranting eases my mind
Obligatory drama rant before going to bed.
I have been reading reviews/comments about Innocent Love, and every single person praises Maki and complains about Yujin being a newcomer. Now, I know that we're all entitled to our own opinions, but I honestly can't understand such nonsense. Here's how I'd put it: Maki is a dullface (I like her together with Yamapi for that - they're twins) and Yujin is made of ultimate and absolute win. They said his smile looks fake and forced - MAN I'D TAKE THAT FAKENESS EVERYDAY. Srsly.
Someone was hoping for Yamapi to star in it. Let me tell you, that would be like a tiger dressed up as a lamb. He's not made for the role, trust me. I do love the Yamaki couple, but this storyline just wouldn't do them justice. They look good either in angsty Kurosagi-ish dramas or completely hilarious Nobuta-ish ones. Innocent Love is too tragically romantic for them.
I really loved Yujin. He's pretty and *GASP* talented. Sorry if I like newcomers better than dullfaces! I'm tired of seeing the same ones - except when you show me Eita and/or Toma, that's why I'm totally read for Voice! I like Nino and Fujiki Naohito as well.
As for actresses, Ueno Juri is number one <3 Narumi Riko comes a close second. Maki just doesn't transmit anything for me. No emotions. I don't feel moved at all when I watch her. I must be allergic to "angelic smiles"...
