Why do I have to be called "abnormal" while expressing my scepticism during an argument about religion I had with my mother? Just because I said that I can't believe in anything unless I see it. Sooner or later people with even the tiniest part of their brain properly functioning come to a point when they ask themselves the infamous question. Is all the shit they've been teaching us really true?
You can't tell me that you didn't witness World War II and so you wouldn't be in the position to believe. Or that you didn't see Mozart composing at 7 so you wouldn't believe that either. What kind of examples are those? That's just plain stupid.
People don't praise Mozart. They're not blinded by music. It would be an awesome thing, but sadly it's not what happens. They're blinded by their crazy beliefs.
I'd rather praise the nature, given all the things that have been created ever since the very start. I'm sorry but I'm not buying it that some almighty entity did it all for us.
But that's not the point. I got extremely angry at the "abnormal" part. "Don't go around telling this stuff or everybody will call us weird." I mean, isn't a mother supposed to teach you that each one of us is entitled to his own opinion and that it's a beautiful thing to be able to think with your own mind? Because it IS a beautiful thing. I'm grateful to my brain.
