So today I went to the Museum of Civilization and came across many things that reminded me of Hetalia ... (some for good reasons, some for obvious reasons and some...well.... they just did...)
HERE IS (part of) THE MUSEUM
Character: Canada
Reason: It's Parliament Hill, OF COURSE it'd be Canada xD
I live in this city of Ottawa anyway, so I see this building, like, everyday.....but some of you don't. So I show it to you!!
Character: Cuba
Reason: This photo has NOTHING to do with the country Cuba (this statue is Aboriginal/First Nations) but I saw it and thought "Lulz. Cuba" -maybe cause the statue, the skin colour of it, is dark and Cuba is like the only dark-ish coloured character in Hetalia...
Character: Austria
Reason: ...It's pretty obvious, haha~!!
(TRUFAX: This cup belonged to Glenn Gould -a famous Canadian pianist)
Character: Austria
Reason: Pretty damn obvious as well!
(TRUFAX: This piano belonged to Glenn Gould)
Character: Finland
Reason: The dogs....Hanatamago xD
(TRUFAX: More belongings of Glenn Gould)
Character: Germany/Prussia
Reason: ...It's 'THE BOSS' ... c'mon now
Character: Canada
Reason: It's hockey, seriously xD
Character: France
Reason: Naked people? A lots of them. What more can I say...
Character: Holy Roman Empire
Reason: .... it's obvious xD
Character: China
Reason: It's mahjong xD
Character: America
Reason: 'Cause he's a hero!
Character: Italy
Reason: Obvious
Character: England
Reason: Obvious -though, doesn't this photo make you THINK?? I know it gets me thinking ...
Character: Finland/France
Reason: Those Xmas strips....and the Santa hat...overly happiness... (BTW...this IS a mailbox lulz)
Character: Japan
Reason: It's a tatami room...seriously xD
Character: Egypt
Reason: Obvious (There was a special Ancient Egypt exhibit that is around for a limited time)
THE FOLLOWING ARE REAL NEWSPAPER ARTICLES FROM WWII ~~!!!!
If anyone wants full-sized images of the newspaper articles, just message or something ^__^
And just for the 'epicness' of it... -
Props to those of you who know what this is....
ANYWAY...
I dunno if that is a good thing or a bad thing to relate to Hetalia at museums that have about a 2% relation to wars... but it happened and I lawl'd plenty.
