THIS IS MAD-NEEESSSS
okay. So I had a generally good week up till today.
Frigin selfish OC Transpo bastards are going on strike!!
Of ALL times to go on strike, it just HAD to be before Christmas!
OC Transpo is our city busing here in Ottawa, Ontario and tomorrow (Dec.10th) they REFUSE to drive. So the downside of this is all the people in the city who depend on the buses can't get to work, there will be about a 20% increase in traffic, Taxi overload and agh~!!
Also, this also means I can't go to school, my co-op or work for however long the strike lasts for. I'll be stuck indoors. hur.

Today, however, I swear to god these douchebag bus drivers started their strike today D<
This morning I waited nearly 45 minutes for my bus to get to school (and it normally comes every 10 minutes!) and then after school for my co-op I had to go out and film Sr. Boys AAA Basketball and upon leaving the game, my partner and I waited nearly 45 minutes for the bus to come (and this bus comes every 15 min!)
We were SO cold! We could not feel our feet, our face, our fingers and we were carrying heavy camera equipment and it just wouldn't stop snowing all day! We have gotten more than a foot of snow already and it is STILL snowing.
So, after a VERY long time I was finally on the bus back home and I guess there was some accident or something cause the bus I was on had to do a detour onto one of the busiest streets in Ottawa and during rushhour it is so DEADLY with and without the snow. Though, with the snow is MUCH worse. There were about 5 buses stuck in the snowbanks on the side of the road and I thought I was never gunna make it home and I was freaking out especially at one point where the bus lights turned out and it started going backwards! (we were on a slant) and was swerving around everywhere!
BUT! I finally got home and soaked my feet in hot water (not with cold water, not warm! JUST HOT!) my feet were so cold and it felt so good and I drank hot chocolate and ate lasagna during this and it was quite pleasant. I got home about 2 hours later than I should have but the one GOOD thing about this strike is - NO SCHOOL TOMORROW!
