I should probably mention this. If anyone in Spero needs water, or can't figure out if something here is good to drink, you can ask me.

It's interesting here so far... Is anyone else planning to stay here? I thought about it. Each of these other cities seems a little better.

But Discedo isn't safe. It never really is, so why not stay in these other places if we want?

I'm not sure. Maybe if water and the other ingredients were already added, I could try to change the drink. How does fermenting alcohol work exactly?

...We couldn't do much last time, either. At least if we're all in different places, the soldiers might only attack one area. Other people could flee to the safer ones.

It's not okay if anyone dies. At least we could do something...have a safe place prepared, or investigate more of the world from these other places.

The soldiers know where to find us in Discedo.

...Last time, they killed almost all of us. We aren't any more prepared now, and there's even less people. They even killed babies...

There should be a place for some people to flee to, the ones who can't fight.

Sometimes you have to take a risk, if you want anything to be any better. We don't have the resources to make Discedo the kind of place you're talking about.

Even if we wanted to do that, we'd have to go outside of the city for materials and supplies. The Scientists wouldn't let us create a real army or something that could be used against them.

That isn't enough to defend the kind of army that attacked us before. They didn't have swords, or bows and arrows. Have you built anything in Discedo in your time here, that can be of use against the soldiers that attacked us?

I don't know how, but they did something to our powers when they attacked. It didn't make sense... none of them seemed to have any. How could they know to block them?
