I'm going to quote myself today because it's my journal and I am allowed to be egotistical, self-absorbed and narcissistic etc etc etc.
I was exchanging messages back and forth with a friend of mine in Toronto.
I wrote the following to her:
Unfortunately, the best art comes out of suffering and pain. However it is through pain and suffering that we grow as a person and become stronger and develop more compassion for others.
