My birthday weekend

I had so much fun the last few days!  I only wish I hadden't gotten sick today...at least it was after all the festivities.  Speaking of which, the worst part of a party is not cleaning up afterwards, it's the sad empty feeling you get once everyone has left and you are home alone.  I had so many people in my apartment!  It was so awesome!  So..here's the Reader's Digest version of the play by play of my birthday.
Thursday: Was my actual birthday.  I had a wonderful day!  My brother took me to breakfast(I.H.O.P.).  Then I was treated to lunch (Fenton's) and a pedicure.  Steven took me to dinner(Johnny Carino's) and gave me a beautiful necklace and earrings set.  Some friends gave me some potholders that match my kitchen "theme" and a funnel cake kit.  How cool is that?  I can't wait to make them!  I also had a quiet night at home watching a movie with the best boyfriend in the entire world.  Even with his broken finger.  (He hurt himself at work, but he's doing okay.)

Friday: I picked up my friend Andrea from the airport.  She came up for my birthday.  We went to Gordito Burrito for lunch.  Yum!  Then we got some party supplies.  She had never seen 27 Dresses so we watched that.  Steven came over in the middle of it and watched the rest of it with us.  We started to decorate for my party but got hungry so I took them out to Tahoe Joe's.  Speaking of which I still have leftovers...yum!  We finished decorating when we got home.

Saturday:  I had to borrow some chairs from my dad so I went to Vallejo to get them.  I also hit a few stores on the way back picking up a few mor items for my party.  Which, by the way, was so awesome!  I had a really good time.  And there were more people here than I thought would come.  There were also some suprises with people who came by whom I thought wouldn't.  It was awesome.  And Steven was so great making the rounds meeting my family and friends.  So awesome.  There were about...27 people in my small little 2 bedroom apartment.  But it seemed to work out.  They hung on my patio, at the swimming pool, my entryway.  It was just fine.  I had a lot of fun visiting, playing games, and I got great gifts.  Including a digital camera!!  I was so excited.  I was planning on using my birthday money to get a digital camera, but now I can use it for accessories for the camera.  Score!  After everyone left Andrea and I watched August Rush.  Great movie.

Andrea and Steven helped me clean up my place after the party.  They are so awesome.  I actually woke up not feeling well this morning so Steven took Andrea to the airport for me.  He also brought me some crackers and soup.  He is such a sweetheart.  He takes wonderful care of me.  He may mess with me and be a brat sometimes but he does love me.  And I love him too.
