Philadelphia Needs A New Nickname!
Philadelphia - "The City of Brotherly Love"
From what I gather...
It's not always 'sunny' in Philadelphia, as a matter of fact, it gets very 'cold' even in the summer; And by 'cold' I mean totally unemotional.
I tweeted a few days ago that Philly has let me down on the quality of men it's producing. My last two 'serious' relationships have been with men from Philly and while I was working towards something real, they really were...NOT.
So, I propose that Philadelphia should choose a new nickname. I mean let's face it Philly, ain't no love in the heart of your city!
And if we look at other U.S. cities' nicknames:
· New York - "The City That Never Sleeps"
· Chicago - "The Windy City"
· Hershey (PA) - "The Sweetest Place on Earth"
...we can see that for the most part their nicknames hold true.
Philadelphia, I even have a few suggestions for your new nickname:
· Philadelphia - "The City of Penn's Landing" or
· Philadelphia - "The City of Independence...Hall" or
· Philadelphia - "The City that gave Mike Vick another chance"
