Interlude 1
I've never put one of these Quizilla quizes in my journal before, but I'll do it for once this time. At the end, of course, so you can read through the meaty journal entry first. I actually rather like this guys quizes...unlike alot of the one's I'm finding in Jess's livejournal, the writer isn't a goddamn idiot.
Anyways, I've been continuing the Hunt since I basically saturated myself with SA Clonetroopers (I have 24 Super Poseable Clonetroopers). Now, I am hunting for the next wave of Star Wars saga figures...the Luke Jedi/R2-D2 wave. I found R2 and R1, but need lots and lots and lots of R2 D2s to be happy. I Heart R2-D2. The hunt has also been expanded to now search for interesting X-Men figures. This is taking place more at specialty shops in both the Nashville and Washington DC areas, and will continue for as long as I and the sister like X-Men.
Yes, my sister likes X-Men, and has appropriated most of my X-Men comics. She also has a bunch of her own, and is really into NYX. NYX is a series about mutants set in New York City, who aren't part of Xavier's little group...they're a bunch of juvinile punks, who have sex, do drugs, etc. I personally want to see those little twerps go from the 'nitty gritty' of Manhatten Isle to the Alternate world doomsday of Apocalypse Island. Instead of the little idiots worrying about Hispanic thugs with guns and Gang leaders, they have to worry about Infinity Troopers with ultra-tech weapondry and Prelate Alex Summers. That would be fun, IMO.(1)
Tommorow, the Endless Hunt (and endless fending-off of boredom) lead to Rivergate, and area of Nashville I'm not familiar with. Wish me luck.

(1) I read X-Men almost 10 years ago, back during the Age of Apocalypse storyline. That was DAAAAAMN cool. I <3ed that storyline! Me -n- the sibling actually have almost every issue from it, too. The only comics that aren't 'collective' comics are the Blink Miniseries, because I like Blink.

person, and if you want something you'd be sure
to get it! You're persistent that way! When you
"smell the blood," you make sure you
find where it's coming from. That's what makes
your senses sharp. You can take things a little
too far though. Your aggression can cause you
do to other things. Don't let it do that.
