Let us know what you think of it! I personally thought it was the best of all eight, but at the same time, I cried through the last 40+ minutes because I knew it was coming to an end. D':

I had to give myself time to let it soak in.... my goodness, it was wonderous! I absolutely LOVED IT from BEGINNING TO END. Of course, there were bits missing, but I couldn't tear my eyes away. And the ending... too perfect. I think I cried more than my friend did when we saw it.

And the Snape montage? *begins to sob again* Beautiful. Just abso-freaking-lutely beautiful.

It was definitely the best of the rest. I want to go see it again!

Gah, all of this. I actually had to stay in my seat through the credits because I didn't trust myself not to start bawling yet again over how perfect it was.

The Snape montage... definitely the best part of the fim, maybe the bet part of the entire series. ALL THE AWARDS TO ALAN RICKMAN.

i just so it this morning and it was so overwhelming, i'm still trying to pull myself together. apart for the fact this final volume is trully epic (apart for that hideous epilogue, ugh, i still resent it), it really is the end of an era. watching this trio grows has really been something special. i'm sure you'll enjoy it, they really managed to top themselves with this one.

LOL, I thought you might like the epilogue, being all sweet and schmoopy and all. I honestly adore it. Yeah, the name sucks and yeah, it's very cutesy, but MY GOSH. bb!potters? bb!weasleys? I love it. Adore it. Need MORE OF IT.

Seeing the kids grow up on screen is just fantastic. And it will be even more amazing to see what they all go on to do next.

Did I cry? LIKE A BABY.
Did I fist pump when Neville was a BAMF when he killed Nagini? HECK YES I DID. Most of the theater clapped, too. I also clapped when Mrs. Weasley was all like "NOT MY DAUGHTER YOU BITCH!" to Bellatrix. That earned a standing ovation.

I really want to own my own set of the books and movies now.

i dislike the epilogue with passion, always have. it feels like too neat a closure and it didn't feel real part of the series as a whole, so yeah, kind of hoped it would be out of the film, or at least be done better. it didn't look reliable to me - the actors were pretty much the same height as their supposed children! also... Albus Severus? really? i think we just found the male counterpart to "worst character name ever", Renesmee leading the female category, of course.

Neville and Mrs. Weasley are in my top favorite moments in this film, joined by the montage of Snape's memories and a few other bits i forgot.

i think i'm going to buy the new edition of the Bloomsberry editions, so let me know if you want me to send you my current ones to save yourself some money, i'll be happy to do it as soon as i replace them :)

It really is a neat closure. I admit, it's not conducive to the rest of the series (and how their storylines go) but as for an overall ending? I love it. Save the name. The kid's name would have to go. Why not use "Brian"? Or use parts of his parents' names? James Severus Potter? Brian Lilian Potter? (That form of Lily is a male version).

Either way, I enjoyed it thoroughly. I could so ship (and drool) over Matt Lewis now, too. Man, he grew up into a tall, thirsty drink of water, did he not? Nerds are so hot.

I want to spend Christmas with Mrs. Weasley and have her knit me a sweater with a big, fat 'S' on it.

Aw, hon, you don't have to do that. But would appreciate it. Let me know how much that would be ship (and to send you money to buy them off of you), because I would so buy that.
