I've seen a couple of episodes and really liked it. I just never had the channel long enough to get into it. I heard it's really good.

it is a good show. i've seen a couple eepisodes and i always see it when it's on but never really follow it. :) yay for you!

Oh, it's just very interesting. Ever watch Veronica Mars? Same kind of sleuthing going on here, with a half-dozen plot twists to boot. And I can't believe Melissa Rosenberg helped produce this.... it's so good.
The title sequence alone (I'm a sucker for those) makes me melt into a puddle of goo.

Dexter is just such a well written show, it's almost impossible not to be drawn in to his strange little world. Micheal C. Hall's delivery of the calm voice over is so dead pan and charming at the same time. And funny as hell.
Sometimes I have to pause the dvr/dvd whichever because I'm laughing and I don't want to miss something. Then I worry that I'm a sociopath cuz I find him so funny.
But, I made my parents watch one episode, cuz it's my must see show of the week, and they laughed. Therefore either I come from a family of sociopaths or it truly is okay to laugh at some of his crazy lines.
What season are you currently watching?

It really is! The characters are complex, nothing flat about them.
I'm pausing every few minutes to giggle and laugh out loud.
I'm on the end of the first season now. I've 2-4 lined up in my Netflix queue right now.
