Yes, I just watched 6x01 of Supernatural. Yes, I am really underwhelmed. How does a man - who has been a hunter for nearly all his life - go from reluctant hero to total douche bag in 1 year? ONE YEAR?!
It's like when Dean met up with Lisa and decided to keep his promise to Sam and stay.... Lisa cut off his balls, stuffed them in her purse and only took them out to let him kill something.
And a Djinn poisoning him? How did Dean get the antidote? Why is Dean calling Lisa & Ben that woman and child and the next minute all lovey-dovey "gotta protect them because I love them"? Really? Did he LOVE them that much?
I think I broke when he handed Sam the keys to the Impala and told him to take it. That right there told me he was finished. Done.
This is not the same Dean. I knew it wouldn't be, but this REALLY isn't the same Dean. He reacts differently and he's so.... domestic.
